The AOA Groves Memorial M.D./Ph.D. Program Student Research Symposium and Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series will be held Friday, February 21, 2014.

UK Chandler Hospital | Room HG-611 | 12:00 noon The symposium includes a lecture titled, “Is the Physician-Scientist Vanishing?” presented by Andrew Schafer, M.D., the E. Hugh Luckey Distinguished Professor of Medicine, and chairman of the department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Schafer also serves as Physician-in-Chief of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center and co-editor of the Cecil Textbook of Medicine, beginning with the 24th edition.

Student Research Oral Presentations | BBSRB, Room 202A | 1:15-2:00 p.m. Following the lecture, three students will present their research in the Biomedical Biological Sciences Research Building, room 202A from 1:15-2:00 p.m.

Student Research Poster Presentations | BBSRB Atrium | 1:00-3:00 p.m. Students will present their research posters in the Biomedical Biological Sciences Research Building Atrium from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
